"It's not a good thing" Mar 06, 2012

I first encountered this rug at Macy's and I had to have it (because it matched my room). Unfortunately, Macy's did not have the size that I needed. I was excited to find this Martha Stewart rug on Amazon.com. The first rug arrived with a dye flaw that should not have passed quality controls. I had the vendor send a picture of the replacement rug prior to mailing and it looked picture perfect. The second rug arrived and the coloring was better than the first. The quality was lacking with regards to the length of the nap, in multiple areas throughout the rug it appears to have longer threads(yarns). These longer threads gave the appearance that the rug had been clawed by a cat. There are to many threads (yarn) for me to make the time to manicure. In addition to the varying lenghts of nap the trim around the edge of the rug is poorly constructed (I have an area that has already pulled away). The price of this rug is too high for the quality of the product.
If Martha Stewart read this review, this rug is not a good thing.
