I purchased this rug for in front of my patio door. I received the rug in 3-4 days. It was packed beautifully, without excess packing. It was rolled onto a core similar to Christmas wrapping paper. It unrolled easily and without curling up once on the floor. The rug had a very slight smell to it. After an hour or two the scent was gone. The quality of the rug is excellent. It is about 3/4- 1 inch thick with a nubby texture, soft to walk on. The color is a little lighter than pictured.( on my monitor) It does not shed. I have a large dog that walks on the rug and a young child that drives Matchbox cars on it frequently. It does not pull apart. It is also woven so that it may be flipped over. I have not attempted to clean it yet. I would highly recommend this rug!

Very nice runner. It lays down flat and doesn't have any tendency to move around when walking on it. It's thick enough to feel really good whether in shoes or in house shoes or no shoes. It appears to be a very high quality and easy to take care of. I've received a number of compliments on it since putting it in the house. There was a small period of off gassing but the order went away quickly.
Shipping was simple and fast.

Beautiful rug. It's thick and nubby with awesome texture, yet it's soft. Even with bare feet. It's perfect for our mud room/laundry room/dog room!

I had too cut and tuck a few of the fiber weaves to make it look cohesive. If your barefoot it is not comfortable at all on your feet. Though they say to turn rug occasionally to equalize wear only one side really looks good.You also have to vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the fibers. (Brushless attachment is recommended) I bought the 8x10 for the beach cottage look which I achieved for the price!

Contains several shades of fiber: medium tan, light tan, golden tan. Some of the fibers needed to be pushed back into place to make the weave look cohesive. Thicker and nicer than I expected. Smells like dirt/ soil, but I don't mind, and the smell has faded quickly. I will probably being buying another in a larger size. If half stars were an option I would have given this item 4.5
